Timber Flooring Range

Certain timbers are available in different dimensions and grades.
Colour variations are standard within timber species. Samples shown are only an indication of the colour range.

Grading

  SELECT GRADE (Light Feature):

   The features that are present are relatively small and few in number. Irrespective of the species the features although visible do not dominate the appearance of the floor.

  STANDARD & BETTER (Moderate to Light Feature Grade or Prestige Grade):

   Combines the features of select & standard grade to provide a floor with slightly more character than a select grade timber.

  STANDARD GRADE (Moderate Feature):

   This grade contains boards that are moderately featured.

  FEATURE & BETTER:

   Combines the features of feature grade & standard grade.

  FEATURE GRADE (Full Feature, High Feature or natural grade):

  Although similar to standard grade but with features a little more frequent & dominant.

  ECONOMY GRADE (Rustic Grade):

   This grade may contain features that are more prominent than feature grade but with the structural integrity of a feature grade floor.
